As part of his transformative journey, Anthony produced “A Journey Through Conflict and Identity” and “A Film Epilogue – The Walk Never Ends.” The first film is a powerful tool that captures the process of Anthony taking individual accountability for his life actions while facing his internal trauma and understanding the impact of unresolved issues. The film showcases the tools and practices he developed to manage these challenges and serves as a teaching tool for others to benefit from self-investigation and self-awareness.
His passion for service took him to various countries around the world, including South Africa, Nepal, and Egypt, where he volunteered with local nonprofit organizations, schools, and communities, raising money and providing educational support for the youth. These experiences broadened his perspective in spiritual, physical, and mental development and ignited his commitment to serve and inspire others, ultimately leading him to set aside his NFL aspirations and focus on his academic and service endeavors.
During his time at the university, Anthony underwent a profound transformation that led to a newfound commitment to education, integrity, and dignity. As a testament to his athletic prowess, he was part of the University of Washington’s football team that won the 2000 Rose Bowl championship against Purdue. This victory served as a milestone in his life, but Anthony’s academic accomplishments soon took center stage. He earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences and a Masters in Education Leadership and Policy Studies. Through service, community involvement, and academic excellence, Anthony earned numerous awards and recognitions, setting the stage for a life dedicated to empowering others.
Throughout his impressive 22-year career, Anthony has worked with professionals and organizations in various roles, such as Director of Student Diversity & Outreach at Washington State University and the University of Washington, as well as an English teacher and basketball coach in Taiwan.
